Numa Crew – New Underground Alliance Vol 2 – Liondub International

Numa Crew remixes

What up peeps! This is the second Big Juana review and this time, we focus in on the Numa Crew – New Underground Alliance Remixes Vol 2 which includes remixes of the dancefloor hits Bass Hater featuring Dub FX and Control featuring MC Kwality comes to you on none other than the mighty Liondub International label.

On the Bass Hater remixes, if your looking for that filthy bass the Sub Killaz one is for you. The booming sub bass on Brian Brainstorm’s remix will vibrate your body to a higher dimension. On the deeper side Samy Nicks’ remix will take your mind on a voyage. The multi talented Dub FX blesses these tunes with his deep voice and tons of FX. Check out the video for the original Numa Crew version.

For the Control remixes Piezo and D-Operation Drop will take you to space with their broken techno version. Lost City remix is on a futuristic dancehall tip with jungle elements mixed in perfectly. A dance circle of poppers, lockers will definitely break out if you drop Badjokes nasty broken beat remix. Liondub hits you with a tough dancehall remix which is also blessed by Dirty Smirks on the mic. Meeku comes through with some finely chopped breaks and a load of spacey effects.

Liondub International always puts out the highest grade productions and this one has something for everyone addicted to BASS. 5 out of 5 lighters! -Josh BigEars

First off, shouts to Numa Crew representing Italy and coming out with their own unique sound. We got a three pack of remixes for Bass Hater ft. Dub FX. Sub Killaz’s tune is a tune that is great for bass faced head bopping. I can’t wait to drop this one myself. Brain Brainstorm’s remix is a nice bass roller, dark and spine-tingling. Samy Nicks’s version is nice and deep bass kicker.

Control ft MC Kwality got 4 solid remixes on this release. Piezo & D- Operation’s remix has the old school after-hours feel. It might not reach my place list when I’m on the decks but this one on repeat at the crib. Lost City got an ill stepper vibe to it. Bad Joke’s version so ugly I’m screaming at the speakers, that’s some filthy bass! Liondub’s version is going to be my summer anthem. Support from Dirty Smirks this remix is going to light dance floors, especially with the crossover appeal. Last but not least Meeku comes with a nice minimal track to round it all off. Cop this when it comes out! Can’t wait to see what Liondub International comes out with next! 5 out of 5 lighters! A Big Juana first! – Hector Mamajuana
